As We Grow was founded in 2012, but the idea behind the brand came from an old fleece sweater that had been passed down between generations in one family. For over a decade, the garment had passed between children in the family, girls as well as boys, was admired, worn by many, lost and found again and even made a land transport to Amsterdam and during its journey created memories in the minds of many children.
As we approach this milestone, the original concept remains paramount and our garments are made to last for generations.
The emphasis on traditional design means that the clothes get an appearance from the past when clothes were more often made at home than purchased. The key to the longevity of our products is the design of the sizes, which means that the garments last longer than otherwise, the sizes are for example from 6-18 months, 3-5 years and 6-8 years.
As We Grow products are made in Peru from eco-friendly materials such as Alpaca, wool, Pima cotton and linen. As We Grow ensures that every step in the production of the products is ecological and sustainable.
